VOTD: [Films of] Tim Burton

Ten down, two go in this fantastic monthly video montage series from Kees Van Dijkhuizen, I do hope Kees will have a fantastic video montage to treat us all to for 2012, I’m sure he’ll have something up his sleeve. With Halloween arriving tomorrow I’m sure over the weekend possibly tonight or tomorrow you’ll be going to parties or been to one, so what film director could get the whole family into a spooky mood? Tim Burton!

Tim Burton is one of those filmmakers who tells stories unlike anyone else. Whether it’s about an alien invasion, the worst director of all time or a bride risen from the dead, Burton’s films are filled with unique and iconic characters and visuals that make his films unforgettable. This tenth episode of [the films of] arrives just in time for Hallowe’en to celebrate Burton’s fourteen feature films.

Tim Burton may not be my favourite director, he is one of those frustrating film makers I can’t understand why people love him. Apart from Batman, Beetlejuice I seem to get that cringe worthy feeling when I hear his name. Despite my less caring mood for Burton don’t let that put you off checking this one out or any of the other nine superb video montages created by Kees Van Dijkhuizen (links below).

As usual after watching this brilliant video I recommend reading Kees thought process behind the montage Here.
