Fox Searchlight have unveiled the first trailer for Mark Romanek’s NEVER LET GO online for your viewing pleasure. The movie stars Carey Mulligan, Keira Knightley and Andrew Garfield and is based on the novel by Japanese writer Kazuo Ishiguro with Alex Garland (The Beach, 28 Days Later) adapting the book for the big screen.

The movie is about a group of young adults living at a private secluded English boarding school and as they grow they come to learn the strength of love they have for each other and they embark on journey of discovery, morality and emotions.

Romanek is better known as they eerie but fantastic One Hour Photo director and with Alex Garland writing the script the movie sounds like it’ll be a deep but tantalising movie. I wonder if Romanek stayed with the Wolfman project would we have got a better movie? I think we would have but then again I might of not laughed as much.

No release date yet for Never Let Me Go in UK & Ireland but the movie has been pencilled in for a October 1st American release.
