Zoolander 2 announced in style at Paris Fashion Week

What better way to close a fashion show than with these two really, really, ridiculously good-looking supermodels? They’re so hot right now.

A sequel to Ben Stiller’s 2001 film Zoolander has been rumoured to be happening for years now. Yesterday, the rumours were finally confirmed, as the film’s stars, Stiller and Owen Wilson strutted their stuff on the Valentino catwalk at Paris Fashion Week as their characters Zoolander and Hansel.

A little while later, Paramount Pictures confirmed on Twitter that Zoolander 2 will be released on February 12th 2016. Not much is yet known about the plot to the sequel, although according to the IMDB page Derek and Hansel will return to modelling only to be threatened by a rival company.

There are also various reports that Will Ferrell will be returning for the sequel as Zoolander’s nemesis from the first film, Mugatu, and that Penelope Cruz is also attached.

The pressure will be on for Stiller and the team to deliver such an eagerly awaited sequel, which hopefully doesn’t go the same way as another highly anticipated comedy sequel, the disappointing Anchorman 2.
