Zac Efron’s THE LUCKY ONE Shows Off New TV Spot And Stills

He is back girls! Zac Efron returns to UK cinema screens on 2 May in his new film The Lucky One which is based on one of Nicholas Sparks’ bestselling novels of the same name. Zac Efron stars alongside Taylor Schilling (upcoming Atlas Shrugged: Part 1) and Blythe Danner (Meet the Parents) in this romantic drama directed by Academy Award®-nominated writer/director Scott Hicks (Shine, No Reservations).

Directed by Academy Award-nominated Scott Hicks (Shine) and based on the bestselling novel of the same name, this romantic tale about fate and destiny, sees Zac Efron play the part of Logan Thibault, a former U.S. Marine Sergeant who returns from his third tour of duty in Iraq, with the one thing he credits with keeping him alive—a photograph he found of a woman he doesn’t even know.  Learning her name is Beth (Schilling) and where she lives, he shows up at her door. Despite her initial mistrust and the complications in her life, a romance develops between them, giving Logan hope that Beth could be much more than his good luck charm.
