Everyone Loves a James Bond type character and with 007 back on her Majesty’s duty again Jack Ryan is flying the flag as the American version. With some saying Jason Bourne is flying the flag In the new Jack Ryan:Shadow Recruit ‘Mega’ clip Jack proves he has the analytical skills as well as the fighting qualities you expect from Bourne or Bond.

In Jack Ryan: Shadow Recruit Jack (Chris Pine) is a CIA covert analyst who discovers a Russian plot to destabilize the American economy by Russian businessman come terrorist Viktor Cherevin (Kenneth Branagh, who is also the film’s director). Jack finds himself thrown into the deep end, becoming operational mentored by William Harper (Kevin Costner) whilst attempting to convince his wife Cathy (Keira Knightley) he’s not having an affair.

The new clip comes in at a running time of 4 minutes hence the title ‘Mega clip’ , it’s action packed and shows Jack Ryan getting his hands ‘dirty’ for the first time and that his nob job won’t just be a desk job. Jack Ryan:Shadow Recruit will be released in UK on 24th January and co-stars David Paymer, Nonso Anozie, Colm Feore and Matt Rippy.

Synopsis
