You Know His Name..Jason Bourne Gets Superbowl TV Spot

The world is at war, he is the perfect walking weapon and we know his name, Jason Bourne! As we type Superbowl 50 is happening in U.S, the premier sports event which means premium advertising and as ever Hollywood’s studio Illuminati fight for those spots. As we know they are like golddust and if your studio has a tentpole film coming out what better place to promote it, even if it’s only 30 seconds.

Expect many more spots to coming through the night and day, first we have the upcoming Jason Bourne sequel which gives us a first look at upcoming summer film. After Jeremy Renner‘s Bourne spin-off/sequel the idea of another Bourne film with Matt Damon/Paul Greengrass collaboration was as rare as Leicester City’s chances of winning the EPL. City are now favourites to win that league and we have fifth film.

What we can see from the TV Spot (or ‘First look’ as this is been called), the new film will reflect a current political situation. That just happens to be a post Snowden/economic crisis,with paranoia fear running high, but so is our excitement. Die-hard fans can rest easy as the 30 seconds of fun show the action scenes bigger than ever and your hero takes out knuckle fighters with one punch…

There’s no proper synopsis yet but this what Universal Pictures released with the spot…

Matt Damon returns to his most iconic role in Jason Bourne. Paul Greengrass, the director of The Bourne Supremacy and The Bourne Ultimatum, once again joins Damon for the next chapter of Universal Pictures’ Bourne franchise, which finds the CIA’s most lethal former operative drawn out of the shadows.

For Jason Bourne, Damon is joined by Alicia Vikander, Vincent Cassel and Tommy Lee Jones, while Julia Stiles reprises her role in the series. Frank Marshall again produces alongside Jeffrey Weiner for Captivate Entertainment, and Greengrass, Damon, Gregory Goodman and Ben Smith also produce. Based on characters created by Robert Ludlum, the film is written by Greengrass and Christopher Rouse.

Jason Bourne is set for 29th July release date.
