Wrestlemania 33: Remaining Match Card Preview

Wrestlemania 33 is less than 24 hours away! Here are the five remaining matches on the card and a short preview for each.

Triple H VS Seth Rollins: Unsanctioned Match

It has not been a easy 12 weeks for Seth Rollins, suffering yet another injury which almost caused him to miss another Wrestlemania. However Rollins has managed to solider on and make to the grandest stage of them all. On the other hand Triple H has had to ensure that the feud can go on, despite Rollins’ unfortunate injury scare. None the less props to both superstars for having the match go ahead, the show must go on! More interestingly this match shall be an Unsanctioned Match, thus the stipulation shall add a hint of the unexpected. At this point I am adamant that Rollins will pick up the win over his former mentor.

Prediction: Seth Rollins to Defeat Triple H

Kevin Owens VS Chris Jericho For The WWE United States Championship

Our hearts shattered as Jeri-KO split, however we are being treated to a bout between the two at Wrestlemania. While reports have been suggesting that Chris Jericho is shortly departing WWE, it would make sense to reward Kevin Owens his Wrestlemania moment. But more importantly this match has to tick all the boxes. This is because this is such a personal feud that it means more than just the WWE United States Champion. Overall I’m fully expecting KO to win and become a two-time US Champion in the process.

Prediction: Kevin Owens to Defeat Chris Jericho & Become WWE United States Champion

John Cena & Nikki Bella VS The Miz & Maryse

While WWE want us to focus on John Cena & Nikki Bella, everyone will agree that The Miz & Maryse are awesome. Stealing the spotlight in recent weeks with a string of golden segments, Miz & Maryse are the most entertaining duo in WWE. On the other hand all eyes will be on Cena & Bella as an expected proposal has been suggested. However I am not too bothered by that notion, simply because Miz & Maryse have been wonderful, which is sort of ironic if one thinks about it. However I am going with the team of John Cena & Nikki Bella to win, because it’s Wrestlemania and Cena will be leaving WWE for a short hiatus once again.

Bayley VS Charlotte VS Sasha Banks VS Nia Jax For The WWE RAW Women’s Championship

Could they have not waited until ‘Mania? Heading into this bout, Bayley is the current WWE RAW Women’s Champion. While one may not think too much of that, I ask: Could WWE just not have waited until Wrestlemania? I believe that it would have been better to see Bayley win the title at Wrestlemania, as it would have created a moment. In addition to this the fact that she is up against the likes of Sasha Banks, Charlotte & Nia Jax is somewhat absurd. At this point I’m vying for one constellation; Sasha Banks turning heel after the match. For now, I believe Bayley shall retain her title.

Prediction: Bayley to retain the WWE RAW Women’s Champion

Dean Ambrose VS Baron Corbin For The WWE Intercontinental Championship

Last year Baron Corbin won The Andre The Giant Memorial Battle Royal, thus winning at Wrestlemania 33 would cap off a great year for the Lone Wolf. His opponent Dean Ambrose is probably the most ideal man to face Corbin, as their feud has been well built. Almost similar in many aspects, both superstars have conflicted well. Furthermore I would not be against the two continuing their feud after Wrestlemania, as it would benefit Corbin in the long term. I can’t look past Corbin winning his first title at Wrestlemania 33.

Prediction: Baron Corbin to Defeat Dean Ambrose & Become WWE Intercontinental Champion
