Can words kill? Maybe if those words come from Elle Fanning like in The Girl From Plainville might. Ahead of it’s premiere in July, Starzplay have released the official Trailer for limited series.

Fans of true crime stories might want to add this one to their viewing must watch. Fanning stars as Michelle Carter, an unstable young woman whose world lead to death. The death of  Conrad Roy III  all thanks to a text message sent to him by Michelle asking him to commit suicide.

The trailer does show two sides of the coin. The loving family side of things, flipped over the dark, sinister side of Michelle and her relationship with Conrad. A bed of evil lies and the destruction those lies leave…

Based on the definitive Esquire article by Jesse Barron, “The Girl From Plainville” stars Elle Fanning as Michelle Carter and is inspired by the true story of her unprecedented ‘texting-suicide’ case. The limited series explores Carter’s relationship with Conrad Roy III and the events that led to his death and, later, her conviction of involuntary manslaughter.

Alongside Fanning, the series stars Chloë Sevigny as Lynn Roy, Colton Ryan as Conrad “Coco” Roy III, Cara Buono as Gail Carter, Kai Lennox as David Carter, and Norbert Leo Butz as Conrad “Co” Roy II.

Starzplay will premiere The Girl Plainville in the UK and Ireland from 10th July.  The limited series will also premiere the same day also in Austria, Belgium, Denmark, Finland, France, Germany, Iceland, Italy, Luxembourg, the Netherlands, Norway, Spain, Sweden, Switzerland, Japan, and Latin America including Brazil and Mexico.
