Wonka Returns To Number 1 Spot At Official Film Chart

After being knocked off the top of the Official Film Chart by Aquaman and the Lost Kingdom last week, Wonka makes a triumphant return to Number 1.
Timothee Chalamet’s turn as Willy Wonka, still only available on digital download, finishes more than 10,000 sales ahead of its closest competition.
Last week’s Number 1, Aquaman and the Lost Kingdom, drops to Number 2 this week, while The Hunger Games: The Ballad of Songbirds and Snakes, starring Rachel Zegler, Tom Blyth and Viola Davis rebounds to Number 3. Disney’s Wish enjoys another week in the Top 5 at Number 4, and Barbie holds at Number 5.
Trolls Band Together is also on the rebound this week, up two places (6) as Oppenheimer drops one (7). Action sequel Mission: Impossible – Dead Reckoning Part 1 speeds back into the Top 10 (8), while frightening video game adaptation Five Nights at Freddy’s drops two (9).
Rounding out the Top 10 this week is 2011 drama/romance film One Day, starring Anne Hathaway and Jim Sturgess, which flies into the chart at Number 10, following a Netflix limited series released earlier in February based on the same story.
