Tomorrow 12th September The Holding a new heart pounding  British Thriller from Susan Jacobson will be released on DVD and Blu Ray by Lionsgate Home Entertainment. The movie marks the debut feature which made its world premier at last months London Frightfest film festival before it had a limited theatrical run, the movie stars  David Bradley, Vincent Regan, Kierston Wareing, Georgia Groome, Skye Lourie.

THE HOLDING is a burning thriller about the destructive nature of secrets and the shocking lengths people will go to fight for what they value most in life. This is the ultimate survival story, which cranks up the tension to the maximum.

Starring Kierston Wareing (Bonded by Blood, It’s A Free World, Fish Tank), Vincent Regan (The Big I Am, 300, Troy) and Terry Stone (Rise of theFoot Soldier, Doghouse) The Holding begs the question – how far would you go to protect what you value most in life?

Cassie Naylor (Wareing) has a brutal secret – eight months ago she killed her husband, when she discovered he had been abusing her teenage daughter. As she struggles to run the farm alone with her two girls, financial ruin threatens and Cassie fights to hold her home and family together. She is further threatened by an enigmatic neighboring landowner (Stone). Life is tough for Cassie, until one day an unexpected drifter (Regan) arrives at the farm and charms his way into her life. But as time passes it becomes clear that this charismatic stranger is not all he seems, leading to a series of events which threaten to put Cassie’s family in grave danger…
