Set in the 1950s, it stars Oscar Nominee Timothée Chalamet (Dune: Part Three, A Complete Unknown) as table tennis player Marty Mauser (loosely based on Marty Reisman) and follows his quest to become world champion. Gwyneth Paltrow, Odessa A’zion, Kevin O’Leary, Tyler, the Creator, Abel Ferrara, and Fran Drescher also star.

Directed by Josh Safdie (Good Time and Uncut Gems), it was nominated for 9 Academy Awards, 11 BAFTA’s, and 3 Golden Globes – including a win for Chalamet in Best Actor (Musical or Comedy). The film became A24’s highest-grossing film of all time, taking in over $179million worldwide.

Marty Mauser, a young man with a dream no one respects, goes to hell and back in pursuit of greatness.
