CAUGHT STEALING tells the story of Hank Thompson (Austin Butler), a one-time baseball prospect whose career ended before it began. He’s got a great girl (Zoe Kravitz), spends his nights working at a dive bar, and has settled into a life of anonymity.
When his neighbour Russ (Matt Smith) leaves him in charge of his cat, Hank finds himself hunted by a shifting cast of gangsters and opportunists. His biggest problem? He has no idea what they want. As he’s forced into a dangerous scramble through the gritty city streets, each encounter narrows Hank’s chances of getting out alive.
CAUGHT STEALING is written by Charlie Huston. It’s directed by Darren Aronofsky (Requiem for a Dream, Black Swan) and stars Austin Butler (Elvis, Dune: Part Two), Regina King (If Beale Street Could Talk, Shirley), Zöe Kravitz (The Batman), Matt Smith (Doctor Who, The Crown), Liev Schreiber (Ray Donovan, Scream, Spotlight) and Vincent D’Onofrio (Daredevil, Full Metal Jacket).
