WATER FOR ELEPHANTS Lands Its Second Trailer

Last I eventually got round to writing down all the trailers that haven’t been updated yet on the trailers page and when you go throught the list you see what movies haven’t released something for a while and one of those movies was WATER FOR ELEPHANTS. So fast forward to this morning thanks to Amazon (via Traileraddict) we have a new second trailer which gives us a little more insight into Robert Pattison’s characters Story Jacob Jankowski. We get to see the moment of tradegy for the character and the rest of the trailer is alot more darker than trailer one showing the anguish, emotion and conflict the movies main characters are involved in the love triangle.

Based on the acclaimed bestseller, WATER FOR ELEPHANTS presents an unexpected romance in a uniquely compelling setting. Veterinary school student Jacob meets and falls in love with Marlena, a star performer in a circus of a bygone era. They discover beauty amidst the world of the Big Top, and come together through their compassion for a special elephant. Against all odds — including the wrath of Marlena’s charismatic but dangerous husband, August — Jacob and Marlena find lifelong love.

The movie stars Robert Pattison, Reese Witherspoon, Christoph Waltz, Hal Holbrook, James Frain, and Ken Foree, with Francis Lawrence directing the movie thats based on a Sara Gruen novel of the same name. The movie is targetting a May 4th, 2011 release date in UK & Ireland and April 22nd in USA.
