Watch UK Trailer For The Lost Girls As The Women Of Neverland Struggle

The Lost Girls (2022)

A family legend, a neverending fantasy. Altitude Films have released the UK Trailer for indie The Lost Girls that asks, was Peter Pan really good?

JM Barrie‘s legendary story you could say was just one big fantasy adventure for the boys. The girls of the story always seem to be secondary and Livia De Paolis’ film promises to put a twist on ‘the lost boys’ story hence the film’s title

The  film cast includes Julian Ovenden, Parker Sawyers, Louis Partridge, Emily Carey, Ella-Rae Smith, with Vanessa Redgrave and Iain Glen along with Joely Richardson.

The Lost Girls follows four generations of girls and women who of all had an adventure in Neverland. All of them given Peter Pan a promise and one they must fight to break. To save their own relationships in reality.

You could say watching this promo, it’s like a PTSD to anyone who has been to Neverland.  Good to see this story from a female perspective you could say is a progressive story…

Four generations of Darling women struggle with returning to reality following their adventures with Peter Pan in Neverland. Like her grandmother and her mother Jane before her, Wendy must break Pan’s spell and uncover what’s real in a world full of fantasy.

The Lost Girls will be released in UK and Irish cinemas as well as on Digital Platforms from 17th June.
