Watch UK Trailer For Greg Araki's KABOOM
Back in January Greg Araki’s KABOOM received a limited release in USA and on June 10th the movie gets cinematic release in UK & Ireland thanks to Artifical Eye.
The movie stars Thomas Dekker, Juno Temple (now appearing in The Dark Knight Returns),Haley Bennett,Chris Zylka,Roxane Mesquida,Andy Fischer-Price, James Duval and Kelly Lynch. How could you describe this one? think Donnie Darko with a sex addiction plus the end of the world is nigh so lets get stoned! It sounds a crazy description but its a close indicator what your in for when you watch this one.
The British trailer is completely different from its American trailer which seems to concentrate on the ‘hallucinogenic’ of the movie whilst the British version its the sex and I know this sounds silly it has a Carry On films feel to it, but if your at work I wouldn’t recommend playing this.
Smith’s everyday life in the dorms – hanging out with his arty, sarcastic best friendStella, hooking up with a beautiful free spirit named London, lusting for hisgorgeous but dim surfer roommate Thor – all gets turned upside-down after one fateful, terrifying night.Tripping on some hallucinogenic cookies he ate at a party, Smith is convinced he’s witnessed the gruesome murder of an enigmatic Red Haired Girl who has been haunting his dreams. What he discovers as he tries to find out the truth leads him deeper and deeper into a mystery that will forever change not only the course of his young life but the destiny of the entire world.
