Part investigative documentary, part real-life gangster movie, 69: THE SAGA OF DANNY HERNANDEZ delves into how Danny Hernandez, a young kid from Brooklyn, would go on to become Tekashi69: one of the most divisive artists/celebrities of our time.

Through his story, director Vikram Gandhi (BARRY, KUMARE) explores the most talked about issues of today, from the increasing demand for explicit content online, rampant materialism, public fascination with celebrity lifestyles and identity. 69: THE SAGA OF DANNY HERNANDEZ is the ultimate cautionary tale of the 21st Century, and is executive produced by Van Toffler, Floris Bauer, David Gale and Jude Harris of Gunpowder & Sky.

The multi-platinum recording artist Tekashi69, also known as 6ix9ne, is notably one of the most disputed figures in contemporary pop culture however he remains one of the highest streaming artists of recent years, with over 4 billion YouTube views, and a loyal cult following of music fans.

69: The Saga of Danny Hernandez will be released in the UK and Ireland from 25th June from all major Digital Platforms, including Altitude.Film.
