Watch Trailer Walter Hill’s Dead For A Dollar

Rachel Brosnahan is a damsel in distress in the (U.S)Trailer for indie Western Dead For A Dollar.

Quiver Distribution are releasing this film from veteran filmmaker Walter Hill (The Warriors, Southern Comfort, 48hrs) which is about to make it’s premiere at Venice Film Festival.

We follow a bounty hunter (Waltz) who goes into Mexico to search and find the wife of a wealthy businessman (Brosnahan). Only to confront and outlaw from his past he put in prison (Dafoe) who is on a mission to prove his innocence.

With the amount of well known films Hill has been involved in over the years. There’s always a curiosity to check out anything new he makes. This looks action filled and with an impressive cast for an indie, this might be worth a look…

Veteran bounty hunter Max Borlund is deep into Mexico where he encounters professional gambler and outlaw Joe Cribbens – a sworn enemy he sent to prison years before. Max is on a mission to find and return Rachel Kidd, the wife of a wealthy businessman, who as the story is told to Max, has been abducted by Buffalo Soldier Elijah Jones. Max is ultimately faced with a showdown to save honour.

The cast includes Christoph Waltz, Willem Dafoe, Rachel Brosnahan, Brandon Scott, Warren Burke, Benjamin Bratt, Hamish Linklater, and Guy Burnet.

There is no news on who or when Dead For A Dollar will be released in the UK and Ireland. Quiver Distribution will release the film in U.S cinemas from 30th September.
