Watch The Trailer For Netflix’s Gypsy Naomi Watts Has A Dark Secret

Gypsy

When you provide a service for help especially one that your clients come to you in confidence you are bound to a Hippocratic oath. In Netflix’s Gypsy Naomi Watts should be providing a ‘safe and trusting haven’ for her clients but as you watch the trailer she has a dark secret. A secret that breaks that oath at every angle, watch the trailer….

The new trailer is essentially a teaser running at 34 seconds long which has Watts or Jean Holloway the therapist reciting her oath. As she reads the oath we see scenes of her been immorally unscrupulous and finding it extremely hard to separate personal from professional.

Gypsy is a ten-part psychological thriller that follows Jean Halloway (Naomi Watts), a Manhattan therapist with a seemingly picturesque life who begins to develop intimate and illicit relationships with the people in her patients’ lives. As the borders of Jean’s professional life and personal fantasies become blurred, she descends into the world where the forces of desire and reality are disastrously at odds.

With Fifty Shades Of Grey helmer Sam Taylor-Johnson behind the camera for this show, you know this will be sexually charged. Fifty Shades as we know may have been a multi-million selling book but the movie was limp as a porn star having a bad day on set.

In addition to Watts, Gypsy also stars Billy Crudup (Spotlight) as Jean’s husband Michael Halloway, Sophie Cookson (Kingsman) as Sydney, Lucy Boynton (Murder on the Orient Express) as Jean’s patient Allison, and Karl Glusman (Nocturnal Animals) and Jean’s patient Sam.

Gypsy will be released globally on Netflix from 30th June.
