Watch Trailer For Heist Comedy Finding Steve McQueen
The Movie Partnership have announced that their heist comedy, Finding Steve McQueen is getting a UK release next month. The film has nothing to do with the Hollywood icon, instead a true story of a group of criminals who planned to steal from Richard Nixon.
Vikings/Raised by Wolves stars Travis Fimmel leads the cast in this one. Set in 1972 he leads a group of criminals who aim to to steal from the biggest criminal Richard Nixon and his criminally secret fund. This actual robbery would become one of biggest robberies in U.S History and FBI’s biggest manhunt.
This looks a bit on the batshit crazy side, big sounds, burning rubber and a lot of chase scenes. As for the Steve McQueen connection, the criminals were inspired by the actors films. Check out the film’s official Trailer that was released a while back…
Based on the true story of the Youngstown mob, President Richard Nixon, the FBI, and the biggest bank heist in US history! In 1972, a gang of likeminded thieves plan a heist to steal $30 million in illegal campaign contributions from the President’s secret fund.
The film stars Travis Fimmel (Raised by Wolves), Rachael Taylor (Jessica Jones), William Fichtner (Armageddon) and Academy Award winner, Forest Whitaker (Last King of Scotland) and is directed by Mark Steven Johnson (Daredevil, Ghost Rider).
Finding Steve McQueen will be available on Digital Download in the UK and Ireland from 16th November.
