The UK Trailer For The Peanut Butter Falcon Starring Shia LaBeouf
After he left the Transformers franchise, Shia LaBeouf‘s film career into arthouse/independent Film route. Sometimes for the good, sometimes for the bad, in The Peanut Butter Falcon he’s heading on an adventure.
The adventure has a big Huckleberry Finn feel to it, one of human spirit. As Small time outlaw who goes on the run with Zack a young Down Syndrome man who has dreams of being a professional wrestler.
The film has been a Festival favourite especially at SXSW winning a few accolades. The story itself is nothing original, but one that’s heartfelt, whimsical even funny. The reviews have backed up this film up as a indie gem highlighting Zack Gottsagen performance. This was his first acting role and winning some glowing appraisals!

The Peanut Butter Falcon is a modern Mark Twain-esque adventure starring Shia LaBeouf (American Honey, Fury) as a small-time outlaw turned unlikely coach who joins forces with Zak, a young man with Down Syndrome on the run from the nursing home with the dream of becoming a professional wrestler. Dakota Johnson (Suspiria, Fifty Shades of Grey) stars as Zakโs loving, but stubborn, carer.
From writer/director duo Tyler Nilson and Michael Schwartz the film also stars Jon Bernthal (Baby Driver, Fury), Thomas Hayden Church (Sideways), Bruce Dern (Nebraska), John Hawkes (Three Billboards Outside Ebbing, Missouri) and introducing Zack Gottsagen as Zack.
The Peanut Butter Falcon will get a UK cinema release from 18th October. If you live in USA, the film gets a limited theatrical release from 9th August.
