Watch The Trailer For British Thriller Cordelia Starring Johnny Flynn

There’s nothing better to seduce your mind with a Psychological Thriller and we have one coming our way next month with Cordelia.

The British thriller is directed by Adrian Shergold (Mad Dogs, One Way To Denmark) and starring Antonia Campbell-Hughes (3096 Days, the forthcoming The Other Me) and Johnny Flynn (Beast, Emma).

The film tells the story of of twin sisters Cordelia and Caroline (both played by Antonia Campbell-Hughes) who live together in a London basement flat. A traumatic event leaves Cordelia fragile, when her sister leaves for the weekend she slowly forms an relationship with her mysterious neighbour Frank (Flynn). As their relationship gets stronger she’s convinced she is been stalked, but by who?

A good old fashioned psycho-drama thriller with some horror elements thrown into good measure. Flynn is certainly on the up since Beast this film is just another step upwards. He also has his David Bowie Film Stardust which today was announced as the opening film for this year’s Raindance Film Festival.

Cordelia (Antonia Campbell-Hughes) lives with her twin sister Caroline (Campbell-Hughes) in their central London basement flat. Years earlier, Cordelia had been caught up in a traumatic event that left her guilt-ridden and fragile. Her gradual recovery and search for independence is jeopardised when her sister leaves for a weekend away. For the first time she meets her mysterious neighbour Frank (Johnny Flynn), a cellist whose music has intrigued her. As their relationship develops, Cordelia becomes convinced she is being stalked. Increasingly anxious and unsure of Frank’s motives, Cordelia begins to unravel.

The film also stars Michael Gambon, Catherine McCormack, Joel Fry and Alun Armstrong.

Cordelia will be released in UK and Irish Cinemas from 23rd October.
