Watch The Tense UK Trailer For Calm With Horses

Altitude Films has released the tense UK Trailer for Calm With Horses.

The Irish crime drama is the directorial feature debut for Nick Rowland. One of the film’s executive producers is actor Michael Fassbender. The film made it’s world premiere at 2019 Toronto Film Festival, leaving with some strong reviews.

The film stars Barry Keoghan, who slowly making a name for himself starring in the likes of Dunkirk, The Killing Of A Sacred Deer. The gritty drama follows the a drug dealing gang, who are scared of dishing out violent beatings. The actions lead to consequences in relationships, testing friendships.

Ex-boxer Douglas ‘Arm’ Armstrong (Cosmo Jarvis LADY MACBETH, PEAKY BLINDERS) is the faithful and violent right-hand-man to the drug-dealing Devers clan, ready to dole out beatings at the whim of his best friend, and the family’s unpredictable protégé, Dympna (Barry Keoghan DUNKIRK, AMERICAN ANIMALS).
Arm’s struggle to find his place in the world has consequences on his relationship with his ex-girlfriend Ursula (Niamh Algar THE VIRTUES, THE LAST RIGHT) as she strives to find a better life for herself and their young son Jack.

The film also stars Cosmo Jarvis and Niamh Algar.

Calm With Horses will be released in UK and Irish cinemas on 13th March. The U.S release date has still to be confirmed.
