Things are about to get spooky in September when Signature Entertainment release The Canterville Ghost. Today we get a look at the animated ghost story with it’s eerie UK Trailer.

Based on the Irish playwright Oscar Wilde’s first published story, directed by Kim Burdon and Robert Chandler (The Amazing Maurice). The film stars the voice talents of Freddie Highmore, Toby Jones, Hugh Laurie, Imelda Staunton, Stephen Fry, Miranda Hart, and Emily Carey.

This Oscar Wilde tale adaptation reunites Fry and Laurie and a fantastic voice cast in this spooky animated adventure. An American family moves in and finds the ghost amusing, but a young girl in the family can release him – if she dares. Starring Freddie Highmore (The Good Doctor), Toby Jones (Indiana Jones 5), Hugh Laurie (House M.D), Imelda Staunton (Vera Drake), Stephen Fry (V for Vendetta), Miranda Hart (Miranda) and Emily Carey (House of the Dragon), The Canterville Ghost is directed by Kim Burdon & Robert Chandler (The Amazing Maurice) from a script written by Giles New (Pirates of the Caribbean: The Curse of the Black Pearl) and Keiron Self (My Family)..

The Canterville Ghost will only be in UK and Irish cinemas from 22nd September.
