Stay in the light guys! Below is the new second trailer for Brad Anderson‘s (The Machinist) eerie post apoclayptic thriller VANISHING ON 7TH STREET.ย The indie movie stars Hayden Christensen, The beautiful Thandie Newton, John Leguizamo and Jacob Lattimore.

The movie premiered back at Toronto Film festival and it did receive some decent reviews I just think its the fact of Christensen as the lead actor in this personally he’s not the best actor in theworld so maybe thats whats putting me off this which is nusal as Im the biggest sucker of Post Apocalyptic movies, justlook at the amount of coverage I give the genre on my other site Cinehouse!

No word yet on when the movie will get a cinematic release in UK & Ireland but Magnet Releasing will release the movie in USA on February 18th, 2011.

When a massive power outage plunges the city of Detroit into total darkness, a disparate group of individuals find themselves alone. The entire city’s population has vanished into thin air, leaving behind heaps of empty clothing, abandoned cars and lengthening shadows. Soon the daylight begins to disappear completely, and as the survivors gather in an abandoned tavern, they realize the darkness is out to get them, and only their rapidly diminishing light sources can keep them safe
