Watch The Impressive Looking Elysium Trailer Two

Believe it or not class, wealth already rule life on earth. The ruling parties use Austerity laws to drain life from working class to feed the rich and it’s fascinating to see this is a regularly used premise for Sci-fi films and we can see this clearly in the new second trailer for Elysium.
Neil Blomkamp‘s post apocalyptic thriller is set in 2054, Earth is split into 2 classes, the wealthy live in the orbiting station paradise called Elysium. The majority human still lived on the overpopulated barren radiated land struggling fighting for what scrapes there is also the small matter that the radiation is killing the all too. Max (Matt Damon) is determined to leave this old life and get to Elysium to get a cure getting there is easy but getting in is the hard part , but for his trying he now has a bounty hunter (Sharlto Copely) tracking him down.
The new trailer has a running time of 3 minutes and does show a lot of what we’ve seen before but also has a lot of new action packed that highlight how impressive Elysium looks.Damon is one of those actors like Leonardo DICaprio we’re first introduced to their talents as young adults but over time we grow to appreciate the depth and quality they both possess. Max is certainly an edgy type of character and we we really do get a feel for his struggle in this video, overall sets up the premise of the film. Back when Matt Damon got the role of Jason Bourne many critics doubted his credentials as a action star and he rightly proved them wrong , this film once again reminds us he is a force to be reckon with within the genre.
Elysium will be unleashed in UK&Ireland on 23rd August (USA 9th August) and the film also stars Jodie Foster,William Fichtner,Diego Luna, Alice Braga,Diego Luna and Faran Tahir.
