Watch The Heartwarming UK Trailer For DJ Ahmet

It was a delighted film festival audiences in 2025; next month, coming of age drama DJ Ahmet will be released in cinemas. Today, Conic have dropped the heartwarming official UK Trailer.

The debut feature film is directed by North Macedonian filmmaker Georgi M. Unkovski. It stars Arif Jakup, Dora Akan Zlatanova, and Agush Agushev. The film impressed on its world premiere at the 2025 Sundance Film Festival, picking up the audience award and the Special Jury Award for Creative Vision.

This charming film tells the story of a young boy who finds escape through dance music. After the death of his mother, Ahmet’s priorities are looking after his little brother. Amongst the conservative traditions of his village, Ahmet finds refuge in music.
