“When you love something, you protect it.” Are they Gods? In the second UK Trailer for Marvel’s Eternals, they might just be and boy this new promo is EPIC!
In just under 3 months time Oscar winning Chloe Zhao‘s (Nomadland) debut in the superhero universe will be in our cinema screen. This new trailer teases why our cosmic superheroes couldn’t stop Thanos and those who disappeared and reappeared has had a big side effect, ‘The Emergence’.
Did we get another glimpse of the Celestials, was it Arishem the Judge? Whoever it was they were the creators of The Deviants the villains of our cosmic heroes, leading to them protecting us once more. The actual trailer reveals more of there ‘interference’ in humanity’s history , do The Deviants simply just want to destroy us or simply leave there own stamp on civilization?
The visual aesthetic for this film is jaw dropping in many levels. We’re loving Marvel signing up filmmakers whose style and vision maybe more arthouse than mainstream blockbusters. The previous attempt was with Cate Shortland with Black Widow with some success, will MCU fans adore Chloe Zhao‘s attempt? We hope so!
