Watch The Dwayne ‘The Rock’ Johnson In Journey 2 The Mysterious Island Trailer 1

Remember when the film studio’s started to make 3D films again? A certain Journey To The Centre of The Earth started the ball rolling with the current crop of flicks? As we now know even since 2008  a certain Avatar improved the ‘quality’ 3D but hasn’t been surpassed yet now minus Brendan Fraser replaced by Dwayne The Rock Johnson the sequel to the 2008 film is coming and we have the first trailer to promote its release. Journey 2: The Mysterious Island stars returnee  Josh Hutcherson with The Rock his new stepdad, Michael Caine as his grandfather, Luis Guizman (the comedy element of the film) and Vanessa Hudgens as his daughter. Let’s get one thing straight this is a family film for the young kids so the jokes will be bad, basically the overall film will probably be bad however if the kids love it thats the main thing.Even Brendan Fraser comes out and says having a sequel is stretching things too far and a lot of people will tend to agree though that’s a general consensus with  a lot of films these days however  does this film actually need Fraser or can The Rock deliver the same conviction? One thing Fraser can’t do is give the monsters the peoples elbow and stare! Layeth The Smacketh down on your candy ass!

Journey 2: The Mysterious Island begins when young adventurer Sean (Josh Hutcherson) receives a coded distress signal from a mysterious island where no island should exist–a place of strange life forms, mountains of gold, deadly volcanoes, and more than one astonishing secret. Unable to stop him from going, Sean’s new stepfather (Dwayne Johnson) joins the quest. Together with a helicopter pilot (Luis Guzman) and his beautiful, strong-willed daughter (Vanessa Hudgens), they set out to find the island, rescue its lone inhabitant and escape before seismic shockwaves force the island under the sea and bury its treasures forever.
