Watch TCM Video Remembers 2011 The artist, film makers we lost in fitting video tribute

Every year it’s common practice to remember those great actors, film makers, artists, important figures from the film community who sadly die  with The Oscar’s been the pinnacle tribute. Sadly every year there always seems to be someone forgotten or excluded from the tribute with the organisers replying with some dubious reply, thankfully there is a tv channel that never forgets.

TCM may not be the choice of the modern blockbuster film fan however those among fandom  as well as the industry know, there’s only one choice for to watch the great films  of the decades gone by it’s TCM.The channel has unveiled a touching  5 minute video tribute which honours the memory of the great actors, film makers, cinematographers, influential persons from the world of cinema and few other’s who never make the tribute but respect what they brought to film.

Pete Postlethwaite, Peter Yates, Maria Schneider, Jane Russell, Peter Falk, Farley Granger, Sidney Lumet, Laura Ziskin, Elizabeth Taylor  the list is sadly endless but their memories wont be forgotten by friends, family and of course cinephiles world wide, enjoy….
