Watch New Welcome To The Punch Clips

One of the unexpected highlights of last month’s Glasgow Film Festival was Eran Creevy’s Welcome To The Punch a UK thriller and in 9 days time that film arrives in UK cinemas, we have 2 new clips to wet your appetite with.

Welcome To The Punch tells the story of Ex-criminal Jacob Sternwood (Mark Strong) who is forced to return to London when his son is involved in a heist gone wrong. This gives his nemesis, detective Max Lewinsky (James McAvoy), one last chance to catch the man he’s always been after.

We watched the film during the festival and we left with only positive things for the film which we saw influences ranging from Tony Scott, Michael Mann, even Hong Kong cinema such as Internal Affairs. Whilst Shifty was the directors low budget hello to film world it proved he can easily deliver something well made with no budget but with a an impressive British cast, Ridley Scott producing delivering some style to the affray we have high hopes Eran Creevy is one his up way upwards in his career.

Welcome To the Punch arrives in UK on 15th March (27th USA) and co stars Andrea Riseborough, Peter Mullan, Jason Flemyng, Daniel Kaluuya, Daniel Mays and Johnny Harris.
