Watch New Featurette For Niels Arden Oplev’s Dead Man Down

A new featurette for Dead Man Down the debut English language feature from Niels Arden Oplev the director who introduced the world to The Girl With The Dragon Tattoo.

Dead Man Down stars Colin Farrell, Noomi Rapace as strangers drawn together thanks to the desire of seeking revenge against the same person, New York crime lord Alphonse Hoyt (Terrence Howard). Victor (Farrell) once Hoyt’s right hand man seeking revenge due to the death of his wife &child, Beatrice (Rapace) uses Victor blackmailing him to seek her own revenge.

The film sees the director of the original TheGirl With The Dragon Tattoo reunite with ‘The Girl’ Noomi Rapace and if your not familiar with Oplev’s style, flair this featurette does a good job. As well as the lowdown of the director there is also some background on the film’s plot. Its a word I don’t use much but Dead Man Down looks uber-stylish, visually appealing intense thriller that looks like it may buck the trend of World Cinema’s finest falling at the first huddle in their Hollywood debuts.Check out the film’s first tv spot which contains some tidbits of new footage.

Dead Man Down, still doesn’t have a UK&Irish release date but American cinephiles can catch this 8th March. The film also stars Dominic Cooper, Terrence Howard, Isabelle Huppert and Armand Assante.
