Watch New Clips For Beautiful Boy Starring Timothée Chalamet and Steve Carell

Festival by festival Beautiful Boy is sweeping up the critical appraise every festival it screens worldwide. Last week it was the BFI London Film Festival and in a few months, the film will be in our cinemas. Studiocanal wants to keep the momentum going by releasing a trio of new clips.

When it comes to addiction, even overdosing its no laughing matter for everyone involved. Emotions are rife, tensions are high and this film hopes to highlight what the drugs do the users and how they rip families apart. Timothée Chalamet star and Steve Carell son and father Nic and David Sheff whom the film is based around (their memoirs).

Based on the memoir “Beautiful Boy” by David Sheff and “Tweak” by his son, Nic Sheff, the film chronicles the heartbreaking and inspiring experience of survival and recovery in a family coping with addiction over many years. 

Beautiful Boy is set to be released in UK and Irish Cinemas from 18th January 2019. Co-starring Maura Tierney and Amy Ryan, and directed by Felix Van Groeningen.
