He’s did it again, Kees Van Dijkhuizen last year enticed us with his fantastic [Films of] series a 12 part monthly video series celebrating some of films auteur’s. The question was, what can we expect in 2012? We’ve waited, waited and waited but recently he teased us with little clues and tonight the final product is here, it’s the boy who lived….Harry Potter.
One of the greatest tales of our time, Harry Potter has enchanted us all with wit, courage and magic. Relive the greatest moments of the brilliant film series with ‘Mischief Managed‘, an epic retrospective with original music from the films. The magic lives on!
Without the films, we’d never have been able to experience John Williams’s Hedwig’s Theme, Stuart Craig’s Hogwarts or Daniel Radcliffe’s Harry. We’d never have been able to meet in the theatre and say goodbye to Harry last year during all those packed midnight screenings. It may be over, but like J.K. Rowling said; whether you come back by page or by the big screen, Hogwarts will always be there to welcome you home.
‘Mischief Managed’ was edited using the Blu-Ray discs from the new Harry Potter Wizard’s Collection and the eight soundtracks by John Williams, Patrick Doyle, Nicholas Hooper and Alexandre Desplat in their uncompressed formats.
Kees Van Dijkhuizen dedicates this project for everyone who helped make Harry Potter the memory it deserves to be. May the magic live on!
