Watch Frankenweenie Exclusive Martin Short & Catherine O’hara Interview

When the Tim Burton’s Frankenweenie kicked off the London Film Festival back in October 2012 it must have been a great sigh of relief when the positive reviews followed. Frankenweenie is Burton’s labour of Love , a personal project and when every fell in place simply becuase it was an area of passion horror not television series that no one heard of (Dark Shadows).

This Monday 25th February will see the home release of Frankenweenie and the kind folks at Disney have sent us a exclusive sneak peek at one of the interviews held for the film with Martin Short and Catherine O’Hara. This marked a welcome return for both actors who both worked with Burton in the past on Mars Attack (Short), Beetlejuice (O’Hara) who voice 6 characters between them including Victor’s parents. In this 6 minute video we hear about Martin Short’s pet goldfish but can you say it’s name?

Frankenweenie is the heartwarming tale about a boy and his dog. After unexpectedly losing his beloved dog Sparky, young Victor harnesses the power of science to bring his best friend back to life—with just a few minor adjustments. He tries to hide his home-sewn creation, but when Sparky gets out, Victor’s fellow students, teachers and the entire town all learn that getting a new “leash on life” can be monstrous.

Frankenweenie is released on 25th February on DVD, Blu-Ray and Digital Download.
