Some secondary characters are just too good to be hiding in the shadows, deserving a moment to shine in their own light. Dreamworks Animation, having already given Puss in Boots (from Shrek) his chance to shine, has decided that the penguins with a panache for espionage from Madagascar are ready for their moment in the spotlight, and this Friday (5th December) sees the UK release of Penguins of Madagascar.
Skipper, Kowalski, Rico, and Private are joining forces with chic organisation, The North Wind, and it’s handsome yet arrogant leader, Agent Classified, to try to stop the dastardly Dr. Octavius Brine from destroying the world.
See them in this newly released clip, trying to create a diversion with a Flipping Useless Penguin Dance.
Penguins of Madagascar stars Benedict Cumberbatch, John Malkovich, Ken Jeong, Chris Miller, John DiMaggio, Christopher Knights and Tom McGrath.  It is released in UK cinemas on Friday 5th December, and you can watch the trailer here.
