Watch First Teaser Trailer For My Policeman starring Harry Styles

A tale of forbidden love takes centre stage in the first teaser trailer for My Policeman starring Harry Styles, Emma Corrin and David Dawson.

Based on the 2012 book by Bethan Roberts we follow Tom(Styles) a policeman in 1950’s Britain. Who finds himself caught in the middle of a love triangle with teacher Marion (Corrin), and museum curator Patrick (Dawson).

With his new album, current tour as well as a role in Olivia Wilde‘s Don’t Worry Darling 2022 is a busy year for Styles. This trailer gives you a taster of the confliction between Tom, Marion and Patrick. The fear of being found out, living that double life and with Tom also a policeman, the consequences if is found out that he’s gay.

A beautifully crafted story of forbidden love and changing social conventions, My Policeman follows three young people – policeman Tom (Harry Styles), teacher Marion (Emma Corrin), and museum curator Patrick (David Dawson)– as they embark on an emotional journey in 1950s Britain. Flashing forward to the 1990s, Tom (Linus Roache), Marion (Gina McKee), and Patrick (Rupert Everett) are still reeling with longing and regret, but now they have one last chance to repair the damage of the past. Based on the book by Bethan Roberts, director Michael Grandage carves a visually transporting, heart-stopping portrait of three people caught up in the shifting tides of history, liberty, and forgiveness.

My Policeman will be released in UK and Irish cinemas from 21st October. Before heading to Prime Video globally from 4th November.
