The film marks the sequel to the 2021 Mortal Kombat live action first film from Simon McQuoid who directs the sequel.

Mortal Kombat II is once again based off the popular video game of the same name. I’ll be honest, I loved the video game and back in the 1990’s I played it religiously. Then came the 2 films from 1990s cheesy and forgettable, 24 years later Mortal Kombat arrives.
