Warrior Mother Queen Watch Boudica UK Trailer

Warrior, mother, queen watch the UK Trailer for historical war epic Boudica. Signature Entertainment release the trailer which sees former Bond Girl take on the Roman Empire.

The titular historical character role is played by Olga Kurylenko. 61 AD when the Roman Empire ruled the lands in a film inspired by a true story of the Celtic Queen who took on that mighty army. When her husband the King of Iceni people is slayed leaving the kingdom with no male heir. Driven to madness and an urge to avenge her husband’s death she picks up the sword.

This historical action is the bold, bloody story of the titular Celtic Queen. King Prasutagus rules over the Iceni people with his wife Boudica by his side, but when Prasutagus is betrayed and killed by Rome, Boudica’s kingdom is left without a male heir and the Romans seize her land and property. Driven to the edge of madness and determined to avenge her husband’s death, Boudica rallies the various tribes from the region and wages an epic war against the mighty Roman Empire. Starring Olga Kurylenko (Black Widow), Clive Standen (Vikings), Rita Tushingham (Last Night in Soho), Nick Moran (Harry Potter franchise) and James Faulkner (Game of Thrones), Boudica is written and directed by Jesse V. Johnson (Avengement).

The film also stars Clive Standen, Peter Franzén, Rita Tushingham, Leo Gregory, Nick Moran, James Faulkner, and Lucy Martin. Boudica will be released by Signature Entertainment in the UK and Ireland from 30th October on Digital Platforms.
