Now the question I ask s how many times do we need to reboot/re-invent a movie? We know Next Years THE DARK KNIGHT RISES will be Christopher Nolan’s final Batman movie and now Warner Bros are already planning to go forward with the franchise. This morning news broke about plans to create a movie adaptation of JLA Justice League(America) which is like DC Comics own version of The Avengers a line up that includes Superman, Batman,Green Lantern, Flash and Wonder Woman a movie which is heading to our cinemas for 2013 according to Warner Bros. president Jeff Robinov.

Robinov also went onto to tell Hero Complex that after Nolan’s third Batman movie , the Dark Knight will be re-invented again !

โ€œWe have the third Batman, but then weโ€™ll have to reinvent Batmanโ€ฆโ€ says Robinov.ย  โ€œChris Nolan and [producing partner and wife] Emma Thomas will be producing it, so it will be a conversation with them about what the next phase is.โ€

Robinov also mentioned about the tv script for NBC’s Wonder Woman tv series as well as Flash movie but Im confused why re-invent something thats been worked on so hard , though the way the film industry is im not surprised. When you look at it it is expected especially when one director has worked and molded the character into his vision the next director will want to have their vision, but do we need to kepp Nolan on as a producer? More like a show of support for the future movie(s).

I know there maybe some fans of the trilogy who want and will be happy that Nolan will still be involved if only on a production capacity, But the filmmaker has did what he can for the franchise, making the fictional Gotham City/Batman world feel realistic and now its time to pass on the baton to a new director. so with the Justice League movie on the cards for 2013 who will play Batman? Will it be Christian Bale or a New actor? Plus will this new actor play Batman in the new rebooted sries? who knows and when the movies to happen lets hope they dont go for the origins route.
