It’s ‘War’ In New Independence Day:Resurgence Featurette

We always knew they where coming back but did we prepare the right way? In New Independence Day:Resurgence Day new featurette titled ‘War’ Jeff Goldblum and Liam Hemsworth chatting about the upcoming battle with our Alien invaders….

In 3 weeks time they will be back and 20th Century Fox Pictures want to remind us when they return it will be destructive!

We always knew they were coming back. After Independence Day redefined the event movie genre, the next epic chapter  Independence Day: Resurgence delivers global spectacle on an unimaginable scale. Using recovered alien technology, the nations of Earth have collaborated on an immense defense program to protect the planet. But nothing can prepare us for the aliens’ advanced and unprecedented force. Only the ingenuity of a few brave men and women can bring our world back from the brink of extinction.

The short promo does show alot of destruction which we’ve seen in the previous trailers, there is a few tidbits of unseen footage. However if your a Destructi-phobe aka love seeing the world’s major cities been destroyed by Roland Emmerich we are excited, very excited! Technology has drastically improved since the original film (which was great then), so seeing the master do what he does best with this technology intrigues us. The star of the film is the destruction and everyone needs a couple of hours to give our brains a rest which this will provide.

Along the featurette we have another poster which shows London once again been obliterated. With a few weeks to go Londoners may want to escape the big smoke but then again were can they go to escape? We also have the first clip from the film called ‘Why Are They Screaming?’. The short clip shows the return of Dr.Okun (Brent Spiner) who reveals if captured aliens are really ‘screaming’…

Independence Day: Resurgence is set invade UK cinemas from 23rd June with Jeff Goldblum, Bill Pullman, Vivica A. Fox, Brent Spiner and Judd Hirsch. With new faces joining  Liam Hemsworth, Charlotte Gainsbourg, Jessie Usher, Maika Monroe, Sela Ward.
