Vroom Vroom Belt Up! Justin Lin To Direct Next Bourne Film
He did it for one franchise and now Universal Pictures are hoping he’ll do it again but this time for Bourne as Justin Lin looks set to helm the next chapter of the Bourne series, Vroom! Vroom! it’s time to belt up.
He rejuvenated the Fast And Furious franchise making it entertaining despite been in the ridiculous sixth soon to be seventh film, most of all Justin Lin made the franchise a moneymaker which Universal hope he’ll achieve again. According to Deadline, Lin will direct The report also mentions Jeremy Renner once again looking set to play Aaron Cross once again.
There’s no word if Tony Gilroy will be still involved in some shape of size, as for writing the script those duties look like have landed in the hands of Invictus Anthony Peckham. There is no word if the new film will pick up where The Bourne Legacy ended or will it spout off in anothe direction. What we can expect is action and Justin Lin has action in his blood which makes with him a good choice to direct, Frank Marshall, Ben Smith and Jeffrey Weiner will all be onboard once again to produce which should help Lin get familiar with Bourne Franchise.
There is no confirmed release date yet but the rumour mills are saying Universal Pictures want a 2015 Summer release with production rolling next year.It’s hard to see where in the summer schedule of that year this film will fit in as the recent months have shown this is going to be a very crowded period but exciting time for cinephiles. So does this mean Hollywood’s Viagra Dwayne The Rock Johnson will be eyeballing Aaron Cross?
