Vampire Academy New Trailer Teases The Moroi And Dhampirs

Richelle Mead‘s Vampire Academy is returning to our screens, small ones this time next month. Sky have released a brand new Trailer that teases the Moroi and Dhampirs.

Friendship over blood in a world of privilege and glamour. The 10 episode season is heading to Peacock and fans of the book will be happy. As this looks closer to the books than the pretentious 2014 film starring Zoey Deutch. Vampire Diaries Julie Plec and Marguerite MacIntyre are onboard as the showrunners.

Friendship, romance and danger. St. Vladmir’s Academy isn’t just any boarding school. It’s a hidden place where vampire royals are educated and half-human teens train. To protect them from the savage ‘Strigoi’ vampires who would like to see them destroyed.

We mustn’t forget the deadly Stirgoi who lurk in the shadows. Our female protagonists dearly love to escape the lives they have. The tone of the trailer plays on the gothic tone of the books and the class structure within the vampires.

In a world of privilege and glamour, two young women’s friendship transcends their strikingly different classes as they prepare to complete their education and enter vampire society. One as a powerful Royal, the other a half-vampire Guardian trained to protect against the savage ‘Strigoi’ who threaten to tear their society apart. That is, if Royal infighting doesn’t do the job first.

The main cast will include Daniela Nieves, Jennifer Kirby, Craig Stevenson, Louisa Connolly-Burnham. Nikol Kollars, Alex Hafner, Blake Anderson. Kieron Moore, Andre Dae Kim, J. August Richards.  Anita-Joy Uwajeh, Mia Mckenna-Bruce , Rhian Blundell, Jonetta Kaiser and Andrew Liner.

Vampire Academy Season One will premiere with the first four episodes. Streaming on Peacock, exclusively on Sky andbef from 16th September in the UK and Ireland.
