To get what you want sometimes you have to forge uneasy alliances. In UK Trailer for indie crime thriller Pursuit, Jake Manley must take this path.
The Movie Partnership (TMP) have sent us the promo for Brian Skiba‘s latest. A film that also stars John Cusack and Emile Hirsch.
Manley leads the line in this one, as Mike Breslin a cop who must go undercover in a drug cartel. That dangerous ‘pursuit takes him on a search to find his wife’s killer. Making his up the ranks through that cartel, only to get to a point forcing Mike to forge an alliance. With a shady hacker who promise he’ll get him straight to his man.
How the mighty have fallen. Cusack may have not have been the high end of Hollywood’s elite, he still lead some big blockbusters such as 2012. Cusack is not alone on this spiral, you must wonder how did they get there in the first place? Sadly this looks another generic forgetful paint by numbers predictable thrillers…
Undercover Detective Mike Breslin is embedded deep within a ruthless drugs cartel, hunting for his wife’s killer. But as his deadly pursuit forces him ever higher through the gang’s ranks, he must forge an uneasy alliance with a reckless hacker to reach the top, and get his man.
The film also stars Elizabeth Ludlow, William Katt, Andrew Stevens, and Graham Patrick Martin. Pursuit will be released in the UK and Ireland on Digital (iTunes, Amazon, Google, Microsoft, Virgin, Sky, Rakuten) from 12th June.
