New UK Trailer For Jason Statham’s SAFE

Momentum Pictures have sent us the brand new official UK trailer for SAFE Starring Jason Statham doing what he does best kick ass and save someone chops. If your looking for a tough guy who has the war scars, a physique and looks like he can take the whole of the mafia with one measly gun and in  this films case its the Russian along with the Chinese triads Mr Statham is your man.

This action thriller has Statham play Luke Wright a Ex-NYC  cop who witness some knuckleheads attempting to kidnap a 12 year old Chinese girl who rescues but finds himself up against every Chinese mobster and shady character from New York City.

After watching Death Race remake last night on television our British knucklehead has certainly made quite  a few howlers but this one looks a safe bet (pardon the punt) on action quality which has a big Man On Fire vibe to it (he protects a young Chinese Girl with a photographic memory) and we do like what we’re seeing  in this new trailer. It wont win Oscars but it looks 90 plus minutes of solid action which we do like to see every once and a while just to slouch back on the cinema chair munch at the popcorn and don’t really care about the outside . You cant beat that sadistic pleasure can’t you?

Safe Stars Catherine Chan, Chris Sarandon, James Hong, Reggie Lee, Robert John Burke, Anson Mount, Danny Hoch, Igor Jijikine, Lawrence with the film scheduled for a May 4th (April 27th USA) UK&Ireland release.
