Shaina West in JADE watch UK Trailer

101 Films have released the UK Trailer for upcoming indie action thriller Jade starring British actor Shaina West.

The film is directed by stuntman turned filmmaker James Bamford (Hard Home, Air Force One Down, Arrow).

Jade is about a woman who comes between a powerful businessman and a gang leader in their search for a hard drive that could damage the operations of Interpol.

Sadly this looks like another generic action thrillers that populate the thriller genre. Nothing special, nothing original either it does look like one of Bamford’s ‘better ones’…

After the devastating death of her brother, Jade is determined never to pick up a gun againโ€ฆ but in a twist of fate sheโ€™s unwittingly drawn into a deadly world of gang warfare, as she becomes embroiled in a plot to bring down Interpol involving powerful businessman Tork (Mickey Rourke).

With grit, determination and second-to-none combat skills, aided by an old friend on the force, Reese (Mark Dacascos), our heroine must take on the criminals and do whatever it takes to bring them down, in this high-octane battle-filled feature.

The film also stars Mickey Rourke, Mark Dacascos, Katherine McNamara, Keith Jardine, Steven Michael Quezada, and Chris Bruno. Jade will be released in the UK and Ireland on Digital Platforms from 24th June.
