Tubi FrightFest Halloween Line Up Will Have Freaks and Crawlers!
How fast time moves! It only seems like yesterday FrightFesters where enjoying ‘summer hell’ and now it’s nearly time for Halloween. Today the dark heart of cinema unveil their line up for their annual Halloween 2 day event which promises freaks and crawlers.
The UK’s most vibrant genre film festival returns to the ODEON Luxe West End in Leicester Square London. Tubi FrightFest Halloween event will take over the screens of cinema on the 30th and 31st this month. Those lucky to attend will be treated to 9 spine chilling premieres from around the world including Europe, North & South America plus Australia and Oceania.
What spook-tastic journey do we have waiting for us? Ready for some carnage? A journey which will have powerful mutants, seasonal spooks, psychotic neighbours, venomous spiders, vengeful werewolves, and shocking Christmas tales where it’s not just the turkey that is carved up.
This year’s fest will kick-off opening the gates to ‘Helloween’ with Zach Lipovsky and Adam Stein‘s Freaks Part II. The which Final Destination Bloodlines co-directors return with the UK Premiere to the mutant roots of their sleeper 2018 cult hit Freaks. This time the Canadian sci-fi horror thriller is even more tense and gory.
Following this we take a step into the the dark woodlands of Cornwall with the world premiere of J.P. Davidson’s haunting and gritty Halloween Folk horror The Cull, starring Craig Russell (Protein). The first day then will close with the ‘meanest slasher of the year’, American Dollhouse. Making it’s UK premiere at the event with one of creepiest horror antagonists to hit screens in a long time, unhinged neighbour Sandy. This is a film which has a modern take on Psycho and Black Christmas (UK Premiere).
We always tell children not to talk to strangers, Tubi FrightFest Halloween ‘encourages’ you to watch Talking To A Stranger. This supernatural thriller directed by FrightFest favourite Adrián García Bogliano and starring acclaimed filmmaker Gigi Saul Guerrero in her first leading role.
We all know after Halloween it’s the countdown to Christmas. Michael Gabriele’s Unholy Night promises to bring early holiday cheer and gross-out queasiness with the UK premiere to what looks Xmas season’s slay ride reminiscent of a lost chapter of The Evil Dead franchise.
Sean Hogan‘s The Dark Gets In will make it’s world premiere next. The Devil’s Business filmmaker latest innovative shocker looks to be an audacious mix of Found Footage, faux documentary and edge-of-the-seat chiller.
The king of ‘splatterific’ gore Marcel Walz is up next with the World premiere of Brute 1986, the ultra-violent sequel to Brute 1976. Matilda Lutz leads the cast in ultra-claustrophobic body horror thriller Crawlers. Following the tenants of an apartment complex fighting to survive a catastrophic, fast-multiplying infestation of venomous spiders.
Ever wondered what a world with a werewolf hunts zombies will be like? Watch the action packed post apocalyptic Dead Howling. John V.Soto (Dog Soldiers) directs and stars Ryan Kwanten (True Blood, Dead Silence) and Temuera Morrison (The Mandalorian).

2026 Tubi FrightFest Halloween will take place on 30th and 31st October.
