The Transporter Vs Alien, Watch The Trailer For Homefront
It wouldn’t be right having a year without The Stath gracing the big screen but 2013 is a busy one and its got even busier that his next film Homefront now has its first trailer online.
Directed by Gary Fleder scripted by none other than Homefront follows the story of a former DEA man Phil Broker (Jason Statham)who moves his family away from the busy city life to quieter life in the country. Before long trouble follows Roy to his new surroundings when a local group of meth pushers led by a sociopathic kingpin (James Franco) forcing to protect not just his daughter but also the residents of the small town he now lives in.
Homefront is the type of film we expect to see The Stath in but James Franco will be the name that will catch some folks eyes. A actor who made his name in Television before moving into film mostly arthouse films which might make you think is this one taking a similar route like Hummingbird? The answer is no, this one looks like a mish mash of Straw Dogs even Taken with The Stath busting anyone’s head who steps in his path. Franco this time may not be Gangsta like Alien from Springbreakers he’s certainly a nasty piece of work who’ll do anything to get his way especially when he has the goons around him.
Homefront looks a entertaining over the top nonsense that won’t disguise itself as a serious film which will please his hardcore fans as well as those who want to leave their braincells at the box office. The film Kate Bosworth,Winona Ryder and Frank Grillo, with the film arriving in the UK 2 days after USA on 29th November.
