We may loathe them, we may love them but Transformers delivers the readies and is why they still exist. This June Michael Bay will bring us Transformers: The Last Knight which has already shown it will be totally insane intertwined in human history. This Sunday 5th February (6th in the UK) The Superbowl, the premiere sporting event in American sports year will play and today we have a Big Game TV Spot.
Superbowl and a Michael Bay Movie, especially Transformers you could easily say it’s a match made in heaven. Full off adrenalin, bursting with Patriotism, overly packaged with too much pyrotechnics. It’s a testosterone fuelled world for both, a world with very few women, those who tried haven’t always had the best experiences. After the female lead Ghost In The Shell Superbowl TV Spot, Those robots in disguise love to fight, blow things up, it’s their destiny.
The Last Knight shatters the core myths of the Transformers franchise, and redefines what it means to be a hero. Humans and Transformers are at war, Optimus Prime is gone. The key to saving our future lies buried in the secrets of the past, in the hidden history of Transformers on Earth. Saving our world falls upon the shoulders of an unlikely alliance: Cade Yeager (Mark Wahlberg); Bumblebee; an English Lord (Sir Anthony Hopkins); and an Oxford Professor (Laura Haddock). There comes a moment in everyone’s life when we are called upon to make a difference. In Transformers: The Last Knight, the hunted will become heroes. Heroes will become villains. Only one world will survive: theirs, or ours.
It seems this spot is only like a preview as the end we see a “Watch full extended version on Sunday”. Lovers or haters we know what the Baymeister likes, expect more destruction! Could expect a little more of insight to the story? This promo we see more fighting between Bumblebee and Optimus Prime could we be teased why both are fighting?
Transformers: The Last Knight arrives in UK&Ireland this June (possibly 23rd).
