There’s some franchises in the world you really don’t care about, maybe the first movie when the buzz might have been there but soon as the movies went to part 2,3,4,5 and in some cases 6 or 7 you rather the come and go unnoticed. Underworld  the movie franchise that  was launched by director Len Wiseman with Kate Beckinsale  is one of those franchises thats not come out all guns blazing like Saw, Resident Evil, a little more low key but still earning the franchise a respectable $100million box office return not bad for a movie with low expectations. On January 20th 2012 the franchise will be returning for a fourth film with Kate Beckinsale slipping back into the skin tight black leather catsuit to kick some lcyan/human/vampire ass in Underworld:Awakening.
After been in a 15 year coma like state Selina returns to take on Biocom a company who is creating super Lcyan creatures, this time she will have some company in the shape of her 14 year old daughter who happens to be a Vampire/Lycan hybrid. If your a fan of this franchise  you will probably enjoy this, if your not a fan maybe you should avoid it or you’ll end up with your head in your hands wondering “why Am I Here?!”. However if you haven’t seen the previous movies but are curious to this maybe you should check out the previous 3 movies first before deciding if the fourth movie is worth a look.
I’m little bit unsure if this is an ‘official released’ trailer or not possibly it’s leaked online a tad too early but watch it while you can before its taken offline. Underworld : Awakening also stars Stephen Rea, Michael Ealy, India Eisley and Charles Dance.

UNDERWORLD 4 brings a stunning new dimension to the epic battle between Vampires and Lycans, as the first film in the franchise to shoot in 3D.
