Trailer For James L Brooks HOW DO YOU KNOW
Columbia Pictures have debuted the trailer for the new James L Brooks movie HOW DO YOU KNOW. The romantic comedy stars Reese Witherspoon, Paul Rudd, Owen Wilson and Jack Nicholson with the movie coming our way on January 28th and December 17th in USA.
The movie centres around a love triangle involving athlete Lisa (Witherspoon), Baseball pitcher Manny (Wilson) and George a stressed out executive (Rudd) and Lisa starts to believe she not marriage material and dates Manny. That relationship last two minutes as he fancies himself more than her then pops in George whom she likes but he has a lot of problems mostly legal and his dad Charles (Nicholson).
Looking at the trailer it does look the generic romcom type of movie but we’re talking about a James L Brooks movie here and some of you may say who is he? Broadcast News, Terms of Endearment, As Good As It Gets and Spanglish, but that’s just his movie side he is also one of the people that brought us The Simpsons, Taxi, Lou Grant and hundreds more!!!
From legendary director/writer James L. Brooks comes a humorous and romantic look at the “How Do You Know” question. When everything she’s ever known is suddenly taken from her, Lisa (Reese Witherspoon) begins a fling with Matty (Owen Wilson), a major league baseball player and self-centered ladies man. Before their relationship takes off, Lisa meets up with George (Paul Rudd) a straight-arrow businessman facing his own serious issues, both with his father (Jack Nicholson) and the law. Just when everything seems to be falling apart it doesn’t.
